Why we built them
Most online editors, converters, compressors, and redaction tools work by uploading your file to somebody else's server. That's slow, it's usually capped behind a paywall, and worst of all it means your private screenshots, audio, and recordings are sitting in a stranger's cloud.
We wrote the SoloSnap Web Tools to give you the same workflows for free, with no upload, no account, and no tracking. They use modern browser APIs (WebCodecs, MediaRecorder, Web Audio, Canvas, WebAssembly) so the heavy lifting happens on your own hardware.
